Ethel Foundation for the Aged is a Charitable Non-Governmental Organization whose principal mandate is to holistically respond to the spiritual, physical, social, psychological and economic needs of the older persons in society.
Ethel Foundation for the Aged espouses the philosophy of Catholic Liberation Theology and Spirituality which strives for integral human development, inclusion and a preferential option for the older persons and less privileged members of the society. The foundation looks towards the person’s final years in life with special focus on senior citizens, those who are 60 years and above and are very vulnerable.
Ethel Foundation for the Aged utilizes all cash and in-kind resources it acquires for humanitarian aid including healthcare and nutrition, social protection through livelihood support, advocacy and policy influencing. The Foundation continues to partner with likeminded institutions to expand its impact and interventions, empowering its beneficiaries towards decent livelihoods.
